Caring, Experienced Recreation Staff

The success of the Benchmark Camp program directly correlates to the knowledge, experience, and dedication of its staff. Our counselors are a dedicated group of college students and young professionals who provide campers with a positive, nurturing, and supportive environment. As campers cycle through Arts Adventure, Science Discovery, the Confidence Ropes Course, Sports, and Swimming, the counselors help them build new skills, perfect ones they already possess, and encourage team building and cooperation.

23-Acre Woodland Campus

Benchmark School’s outstanding campus provides the perfect environment for summer fun. A heated outdoor pool, climbing wall, playing fields, game area, and our beautiful wooded campus, all contribute to an experience that many characterize as the Best. Summer. Ever!

Benchmark has been our daughter's favorite camp experience.

Confidence Course

A summer favorite, Benchmark’s Confidence Course is designed to increase children's self-confidence and problem-solving skills through participation in the 35-event ropes course.
On the Zip Wire, a highlight of the course, every child is given the opportunity to ascend to great heights by overcoming a series of obstacles. They complete the event by jumping from a 40-foot high platform and flying down a 250-foot cable safely to the ground—an experience which brings a tremendous sense of accomplishment.
