Build Your Child’s Self-confidence with our Summer Programs
Benchmark Summer Camp offers children in grades 1-6 an ideal setting for developing and maintaining skills and strategies, building confidence and self-esteem, and having fun while becoming stronger learners and self-advocates.

The five-week program includes Benchmark's internationally-recognized language arts program, executive function skills instruction, design thinking activities, as well as art, science, and sports opportunities. In addition, Benchmark campers are challenged and supported as they experience our 35-event Confidence Course, which includes a 40-foot high, 250-foot long Zip Wire. All of these elements make it a summer filled with learning, creating, and fun!

Campers from Around the Nation and the World
Although Benchmark is a day camp, the success of the summer program has led parents to make arrangements to send their children to Benchmark Camp arriving from New York, New England, Washington State, California, and even South America, Africa, and Asia, so that they may benefit from this transformational experience.

"I had to write to thank the staff of Benchmark for making my son Quinn's first year at camp so special. I was nervous about him going to camp all day since he is only seven and can be really shy. He comes home every day so proud of his artwork... and he loves Discovery Club and swimming.... His reading is coming along...he loves the read alouds. When I drop him off, every person is so positive and kind, it really makes a difference. I am so glad we found Benchmark!"  -K.P., July 2018

"Our child came home every day extremely enthusiastic about reading and all the activities. He is more engaged as a reader and his comprehension skills have greatly improved." -F.A.

"My child has developed a stronger love for reading. Having gained knowledge, tools, and confidence this summer, I feel he will do much better in third grade." -T.K.

"The program was amazing! Our son's progress has improved dramatically; his confidence is through the roof. The teachers and counselors did an amazing job. Thank you!"  -N.D.

"Our daughter loved camp, grew in her confidence as a reader, and has shown tremendous improvement." -S.K.

"Our son is much more willing to try lots of new things. I believe the Recreation Program has something to do with his increased confidence." -S.B.

"No way to improve perfection! You guys have it down!!"  -J.K.
