New Director of Admissions

Dear Benchmark Families,

It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Megan Wonderland to the position of Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management at Benchmark. She succeeds Linda Lattif who recently completed nine years in this role. We are so very fortunate to have Megan’s talents, skills, and deep love for our school in this central role.

Megan has been engaged at Benchmark since the summer of 1997 when she was a student at West Chester University. She received training from some of our most revered instructors and went on to become a deeply respected colleague and beloved teacher in both our summer program and our Middle School, championing instruction in language arts and science.

For the past thirteen years, Megan has been centrally engaged in admissions work as a primary assessor of applicants for our summer program. For the past two years, she has extended that experience as a member of the admissions team with a focus on organizing visits of prospective students and assessing their readiness for our academic program. Most recently, Megan has forged close connections to many of our feeder schools as she has led the effort to assist our eighth graders in their transition to high school.

Benchmark has a depth of talent in its faculty that is unmatched and Megan Wonderland is a superlative example of that fact. Please join me in welcoming her to this leadership role in our school.

Sincerely,

Ralph Wales, Interim Head of School
