Current Employment Opportunities

Benchmark Camp is a 5-week day camp providing academics and recreation. We serve bright children in grades 1 through 6 who have dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or other language-based learning differences along with students who need additional help in language arts. Benchmark Camp is looking for an energetic and attentive Recreation Counselor. The Recreation Counselor accomplishes the objectives of the camp by supporting and facilitating activities under the direction of the Recreation Program Director.

This teaching position involves teaching students various methods and approaches to learning the concepts and skills associated with art fundamentals, principles of composition, and aesthetic ideas. A combination of teacher-led investigations balanced with student-led choice opportunities allows students to develop new skills that enhance the expression of their voices.  The ideal candidate will combine the love and skill for teaching art with an understanding of teaching and supporting students who learn differently.

We are always interested in hearing from potentially interested applicants, so please feel free to send a resume for us to keep on file at humanresources@benchmarkschool.org.
