Benchmark School practices a rolling admissions procedure and accepts applications throughout the year.
Step 1: Apply
Complete an online admission application.
Step 2: Application Documents
Once your admission application has been processed, you will have access to your online admissions account. Via this account, you will submit the following documents:
- A written report of psycho-educational testing completed within the last 2 years. This could be an Evaluation/Re-evaluation Report from your child’s public school or a report from a private tester.
- Your child’s most recent report card
- IEP or 504 Plan, if applicable
- Teacher recommendation
- Parent/Guardian questionnaire
Parents/guardians can tour the school at any point in the process.
Step 3: Student Visit
Schedule your child’s visit to Benchmark School. Visits are approximately 2 hours and include a reading and math assessment and a campus tour.
Benchmark School is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Academic Schools and has been accorded 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. A not-for-profit, independent school, Benchmark relies on tuition and charitable gifts for its operation. Accredited by Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, which is a member in good standing of the National Association of Independent Schools’ Commission on Accreditation.
