Admissions Process

Benchmark School practices a rolling admissions procedure and accepts applications throughout the year.

Step 1

We encourage all prospective families to attend an open house to experience first-hand our school community and academic program. You are also welcome to schedule a private meeting and tour by contacting the Admissions Office.

Step 2

Submit a completed application packet, including:

The Admissions Team will review the submitted materials and contact you regarding the steps that follow in our admissions process.

Step 3

All candidates are required to have a reading screening administered by a Benchmark staff member. It will be scheduled after the application form is completed.

Step 4

Families will be notified of the admissions decision within two weeks of receipt of the completed application.

Financial Aid

Families may inquire about Financial Aid at any time during the admission process. For additional assistance or information, please contact the Admissions Team, 610-565-3741.


Benchmark School is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Academic Schools and has been accorded 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. A not-for-profit, independent school, Benchmark relies on tuition and charitable gifts for its operation.  Accredited by Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, which is a member in good standing of the National Association of Independent Schools’ Commission on Accreditation.
