Admission Process

Benchmark School practices a rolling admissions procedure and accepts applications throughout the year.

Step 1

We encourage all prospective families to attend an open house to experience first-hand our school community and academic program. You are also welcome to schedule a private meeting and tour by contacting the Admission Office.

Step 2

Submit a completed application packet, including:

  • An admission application form (Please note: there is no application fee)
  • A WISC V or a psycho-educational evaluation completed within the past two years
  • A recent report card
  • A teacher recommendation form completed by your child's current teacher

The Admission Team will review the submitted materials and contact you regarding the steps that follow in our admissions process.

Step 3

All candidates are required to have a reading screening administered by a Benchmark staff member. It will be scheduled after the application form is completed.

Step 4

Families will be notified of the admissions decision within two weeks of receipt of the completed application.
