Welcome from Head of School

On behalf of Benchmark School, welcome to our dynamic learning community where for 48 years our gifted teachers have been applying our proven and pioneering teaching methods to change the trajectory of children's lives.

You can see the results of our program in the lives and careers of successful Benchmark alumni around the world. We are proud that our graduates make the successful transition to high school and virtually all continue on to higher education, many attending some of the nation’s most prestigious colleges, universities and graduate programs.

As you will see articulated in the pages that follow our faculty lead students through a full range of learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom. A focus on the whole child facilitates academic progress as well as social, emotional, physical, and artistic development. From rigorous academics to a rich array of music, theater, outdoor recreation, competitive athletics, and extra curricular activities, Benchmark offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the way each student learns best. All of this happens in a supportive, family-focused community that is deeply committed to helping each and every student succeed.

I hope you will take a few moments to explore this website, but the best way to experience Benchmark is to schedule a visit. Once you and your child step onto our campus, I am confident that you will understand what continues to make Benchmark School an internationally recognized leader in effective, research-based education for children who learn differently or have yet to unlock their full academic potential.

If this sounds like an environment in which your child could flourish, I look forward to welcoming you to our campus.
