Our strategic planning process begins with you, our Benchmark community.
 

This year, we will mark a significant milestone as we launch a community-wide strategic visioning initiative that will propel, challenge, and ground our school as an educational leader. Simply put, we are at a very exciting and opportune time in the school's history.

It is our hope that the entire community will engage in the process that brings us to our next strategic plan—students, faculty and staff, parents, alumni, and trustees. Input from every voice will create a vision that is inclusive, representative, and can successfully imagine and execute what is next for Benchmark.

What is our goal?

With your collective energy and enthusiasm, we will create a strategic roadmap that will guide us to a future where our students are best prepared to succeed in an increasingly complex global environment.

It will ensure we are on the leading edge of innovation and maintain the long-term sustainability of our school.

Meet the Strategic Planning Core Working Group & Steering Committee

These members of our community will help guide our strategic planning process every step on the way ensuring there is representation from across our community and acting as important conduits for information.

The Core Working Group and the Steering Committee will work hand-in-hand with strategic planning facilitator Concentrics to move this initiative forward with a target completion of October 2021. 

Core Working Group

The Core Working Group will manage the overall governance of the process. This small committee is made up of faculty, administrators, alumni, and board members. The Core Working Group members are:

  • Michele Bogosian P'19, Board of Trustees
  • Greg Coleman, Board of Trustees
  • Eleanor Gensemer, Head of Middle School
  • Megan Wonderland, Director of Admissions
  • Alyce Callison, Director of Marketing and Communications
  • Bandana Jha, Chief Financial Officer

Steering Committee

The Strategic Planning Steering Committee comprises a larger group that represents a microcosm of our community including current and past parents, faculty/staff, alums, board members, and community partners.

The Steering Committee will help us envision a thriving future for our school. Members of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee will help us establish strategic priorities and generate ideas for how we might address those priorities.
