Our Campus

From the moment you enter our campus, you know you’re in a special place. Nestled in a 23-acre woodland, Benchmark School exudes a sense of warmth and care inside and out.

While warm, personalized teacher-to-student care and instruction is the clear focus of our classrooms, our students also have all the technological support they need. Every lower school student has the use of iPads, students in grades 3-5 have Chromebooks, and each middle school student has their own MacBook. Technology is woven into classwork, and students use increasingly sophisticated tools and platforms to create and share work.

Benchmark’s curriculum places a strong emphasis on innovation and design thinking, and our dedication to this work is reflected in our two state-of-the-art Innovation Labs. These spaces feature 3D printers, a laser cutter, robotics and programming tools, iMacs, and a wide array of creative building materials.

Travel deeper into our campus to find our athletics facilities, with a gymnasium, heated outdoor swimming pool, a hardscape area called the greentop for outdoor all-weather play, a low ropes Confidence Course, our 40’-high zipline course for use in the summer, and our two playing fields, including a regulation soccer field. Our playground is undergoing a $2 million renovation and will showcase one-of-a-kind play equipment within our wooded play area.

Our A. Palmer West Performing Arts Center features a 420-seat auditorium, as well as a generous lobby space and adjacent kitchen, suitable for a range of events.
