Welcome back to Benchmark!

Whether you attended Benchmark when it was located in the church basement or experienced the school as it is today, situated on a wooded 23-acre campus, you should know that Benchmark continues to thrive and grow, fulfilling its mission to provide students who enter the school as bright, struggling readers and writers with the tools and strategies they need to become lifelong learners, thinkers, and problem solvers.

The main mission of Benchmark’s alumni program is to communicate with our alumni and to promote communication among our alumni.

The year 2010 will mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of the School. We hope that you will take an opportunity to visit us and see how we've changed and take a moment to chat with us and let us know what new developments are in your life.

If you can't come back to Benchmark in person, we hope you will take a look at our new presence on Facebook http://www.facebook.com.

Benchmark also has a new group for professional networking on LinkedIn that is reserved for Benchmark grads: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?about=&gid=2725302&trk=anet_ug_grppro
Thanks to Benchmark alum Sage (Seiji) Thompson '92 for both originating the great idea for this new group, for setting it up, and for managing it. Benchmark is fortunate and grateful for alums like Sage who continue to give back to the School.

Also everyone loves to read about their friends and classmates in the Benchmark News!  Share your information by either writing in the "News" section under Alumni Update on this website or by emailing us: benchmarkinfo@benchmarkschool.org. We welcome your attached photos with your news updates!

With these goals in mind, you will find event listings and your classmates’ email addresses on this website. We ask that you keep us up-to-date on change of addresses – both home and e-mail – so that we may stay connected and serve you better.

You, our alumni, are the foundation and the future of Benchmark School. You are the example of what our current students hope to become. Please keep in touch!

Thank you!

As alumni we are connected not only by the time we spent at Benchmark. We are connected by our common effort to succeed in life.
